Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026 · Updated September 29, 2026 · Lobby Lamp, Vancouver, BC, Canada

The short version

We collect only what we need to reply to you, we store it in Canada, we never sell it, and you can have it corrected or deleted by asking one person: Ben.

What we collect

Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)

This site is built to measure whether our own advertising works. One tag may run, and only after we switch it on:

Until it is switched on it loads nothing, sets no cookies, and sends no data anywhere. We do not use session recording, and we do not run any other trackers.

What we do with it

Where it lives

Form submissions go to our CRM, hosted on servers in Canada. We don't use your information for anything else, we don't sell or rent it, and we don't share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers who run it (hosting and email), under their own confidentiality obligations. When advertising measurement is on, the tag above sends pseudonymous event data to Meta as described.

Your rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act you may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and ask how it has been used. Email ben@lobbylamp.com — there is no form and no ticket queue; the same person who would answer your inquiry answers these.

Retention

We keep inquiry data while a conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterward, then delete it. Ask earlier and it's deleted earlier.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies by default. If Meta Pixel measurement is switched on, this page says so above and those services' cookies apply as described. A single preference (your light/dark theme choice) is stored in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device.
