Lobby Lamp

Terms of Service

Effective August 28, 2026 · Updated September 29, 2026 · Lobby Lamp, Vancouver, BC, Canada

What we do

Lobby Lamp builds direct-booking pages and booking-system setups for independent businesses that take bookings — hotels, inns and guest houses, restaurants and bars, tours, activities and escape rooms — and quote pages with lead capture for home-service businesses, and provides related advertising services. These terms govern use of lobbylamp.com and purchases of our services.

Quotes and the savings calculator

The calculator on this site is an estimate built on stated assumptions (for hotels, an 18% blended OTA commission and a 15% shift of bookings to direct in year one; other industries show their own cited fee figures). It is not a quote, a promise, or a guarantee of results. Your actual numbers depend on your business, your prices, your volume and your market. Formal quotes are given in writing after we review your business.

Services

Your data and your accounts

Your booking or lead page runs on accounts in your name wherever the platform allows it — your Stripe, your customer list, your domain. If you cancel, you can export your customer and booking data at any time, in one click, at no charge. We never hold your funds or your data hostage.

What we don't promise

We don't guarantee occupancy, job volume, revenue, ad performance, or any specific return. Case studies and examples on this site are labeled as measured results or modeled estimates, and modeled estimates are not commitments. Marketplace fee figures are cited to their sources; third-party figures are labeled as reported.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost bookings) arising from use of the site or services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

If we change these terms we update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
